Paper Moon

Being plastic. That's the advice someone gave me some time ago. "just do it, even if it means being plastic."

It comes easy for those who are well-versed. And I agree that it's a means of survival to some extent. And I wonder to what extent do many of us do it. Or to what extent many of us have it ingrained in us that we don't even know that we are doing it. Or if we even realise.

For those of us who live with the literal truth everyday, maybe we should try it sometime. Maybe, just maybe, it'll keep them off our backs for a second. But then again, how do we answer to the person we see in the mirror that same night?

Ahh.. very conflicting values.
